You Keep On Shouting

The University of Texas football team is opening the 2005 season by wearing a bunch of retro jerseys and helmets from 1967. I'd prefer instead they put on a bunch of Kiss makeup, tongue extensions, and rig their shoulder pads to where firework sparklers ignite when they're sprinting in the open field with the ball.

Man I Feel Nothing

Bill Clinton was recently quoted as saying he was a "fat band boy" growing up. I was too, except I wasn't fat. And the band I was in wasn't the school band -- we were a group of enterprising and talented young musicians just looking for a voice and outlet for our struggle against the ever-changing face of the early 90's society. That, and the Country Club was always closed on Mondays.
